It is a D&D tracker and rules checker for the MOS KIM-1. I don't have an original system (I have a KIM-UNO) so getting someone to playtest on an actual system to make sure it also works on a real 6502, and not just in an emulator. It was made as a challenge to myself to cram the essential D&D rules and stat tracking into a single kilobyte. I say the computer plays D&D, but it needs input from a person to work.
The program should be able to run on just the LED Display already on the kim-1, but on one side of the tape I might make a bigger program for systems with more RAM that can work with teletype or terminal machines. I'm planning a ZX 81 version but that will be after I make the KIM-1 version.
I'm gonna get my cassette tapes from www.duplication.ca because they have tonnes of colours and length options + a really good prices. I'm probably going to get either lemon or rubine cassettes with a length of 4 minutes on each side. I picked these colours because 1. they look good and, 2. rubine is the lasealeon pink/red colour.I think it would be cool to generate encounters too, but thats a lot of memory I can't really afford to use.
